At a very strong, 5'9" Amaya is a top prospect at guard for the 2027 class. Playing up on Team PA's 16U Select 40 Team she has taken a leadership role. She is tough-minded and very poised for her age. This makes her a player that coaches want on the floor for their team but that they do not want to have to play against. Amaya understands how to play tough defense and can guard the 1, 2, 3, and 4 positions. This versatility also plays out on offense where she is asked to handle the ball a lot for her team. She is a three-level scorer making her very hard to guard. She is gaining a lot of attention around Central PA and if you watch her play you will know why.

Amaya is a team player who does the little things that make everyone around her better. Amaya has a strong mid-range game with great body control that allows her to take advantage of her opponents. She rebounds the ball well at her size and can defends guard/forward position. She adds great depth to our 16u team and easily will be someone to talk about in her class as she continues to develop.
