Stephen Griffin is the Head Coach for the PA Coalition 16U (2026) Hoop Group Showcase League (HGSL) team. He currently serves as the Head Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Desales University. Prior to Desales, coach Griffin was an assistant with Gannon University. In addition, coach Griffin spent two seasons as a graduate manager with Penn State University men’s basketball team and a year with the Dallas Mavericks as a member of the player development and video support staff.
Coach Griffin has previous AAU coaching experience with Mid-Atlantic Select. Griffin played basketball for coach Herb Magee at Philadelphia University.
Nigel Long is the assistant coach for PA Coalition 16U (2026) Hoop Group Showcase League (HGSL) team. Coach Long is currently the Head Varsity Coach of the Liberty HS Boys’ program. Prior to Liberty, coach Long was the Head Assistant Varsity Coach and Head Junior Varsity coach at Bethlehem Catholic HS.
Coach Long has been involved with AAU for over 5 years having coached at the 15U, 16U and 17U levels for the L&L Running Rebels and PA Coalition programs. Coach Long played basketball at Muhlenberg College.
