Ava Barket

Ava Barket is a very exciting 2026 prospect with Team Pennsylvania. She has been with the program since grade school and we have seen tremendous growth and development from her. This is in large part because of Ava's tireless work ethic. She is an athlete who never misses a training. She trains all year round at The ROAD College Prep Academy which is a high level training program in Harrisburg, PA.

Ava is a strong and athletic 5'8" with a long wing span. These attributes make her an outstanding defender who can guard positions 1 through 4 on the court. Growing up in the Team PA system means that she is "defensive-minded." Ava also has a level of toughness that is hard to teach. While defense alone makes her a strong prospect, she has developed in recent years to an all-around threat on the offensive end of the floor. First, she is a player who is always in the gym getting up game shots. She has extended her range to the college three-point line this past year. Her athleticism and toughness make her a dual threat as she can get the basket past most defenders. It is exciting to think where she will develop in the coming months and years on the offensive end of the floor.

Ava is an outstanding teammate with an excellent attitude all the time. This along with her skill and athleticism made her an obvious choice to play this year on Team Pennsylvania's top 15U Select 40 team.
