Shellie played four years of varsity basketball at William Allen High School in Allentown where she held the season high three point record for 15 years. She attended Messiah College and had four NCAA tournament appearances including one Sweet 16. After graduation, she went back to her hometown to teach middle school English and coach middle school girls’ basketball on and off for the last 17 years. She has a gift and passion to teach and encourage young people in the game of basketball, knowing that the confidence and skills learned on the basketball court are all transferable to their lives.
