Leah McGarvey has been the most improved player on her team for two years in a row. This speaks volumes of her work ethic and desire to improve. She spends more hours in the gym in training than most which is truly paying off for her.

Like all players on her team, she is a "defensive-minded" player who can guard multiple positions. She takes advantage of a 5'10" wing span, strong athleticism, and a tremendous will when she guards. Leah is a "high energy player" and can change the game on the defense end of the floor by applying full-court pressure. This makes her a coach's favorite and necessary piece for any team.

Most exciting for this prospect has been her development on the offensive end of the floor. In her sophomore year, Leah has developed into a three-level player. She has always been comfortable shooting from long range, but she has added both a mid-range game and drive to the basket. The Team Pennsylvania Coaching Staff remains extremely excited with Leah's future as an all-around player.
