Kristin McGeough

Kristin McGeough grew up in Pittsburgh and started her basketball career at Chartiers Valley. While in High School, Kristin’s team played in multiple state finals and set school records. After graduating from Chartiers Valley, she continued on to play collegiate basketball for four years at Shippensburg University. While at Shippensburg, Kristin played in the D2 NCAA March Madness Tournament facing off against her previous high school and AAU teammates. After graduating college, she accepted a teaching position at Cumberland Valley School District where she now teaches 7th-grade history and coaches the CV Mountain View Middle School girls basketball team. This will be her third year coaching and her second year at Team Pennsylvania. Kristin is very excited to continue working with the top AAU program in the state!

Steve Day

Steve Day brings to the program a very impressive resume of over fifteen years of coaching and running basketball programs.  Steve returns for the 2022 season after winning the A-Game/Premier 1 National Championship in 2021 with his Team PA 7th Grade Girls Team.  Steve ran the Hershey and Lower Dauphin youth programs while coaching at Lower Dauphin High School for several years.  Steve began his AAU career by establishing and leading his own club.  His club was ranked nationally and placed 15th at the AAU National Tourney in Nashville, Tennessee in 2012 out of over 300 teams in attendance.  Steve’s biggest passion is helping kids with their college recruitment as he helps place numerous kids in college programs yearly.  Steve played college basketball at Lincoln Memorial University and graduated with a Bachelors’ in Business Administration. Steve and his wife Michelle are the proud parents of four daughters including three that have played for the Team Pennsylvania program. 

Daron Dickerson

Coach Daron Dickerson is a 2005 graduate of Marywood University where he played his college basketball, and was a PAC (Pennsylvania Athletic Conference) All-League honorable mention player during his senior season. He also served as a student assistant coach prior to graduating. Post college, Coach Daron’s coaching experience continued serving as the Boys Varsity Assistant Coach at Hershey Christian School, Boys JV Head Coach/Varsity Assistant Coach with 2013-14 PIAA District Champions and PIAA State Champion Runners Up Susquehanna Township High School, and currently serves as Girls Varsity Assistant Coach at Bishop McDevitt High School. Coach Dickerson emphasizes effort and concepts on the defensive end of the floor, as well player and skill development.

Alexis Hartwick

Alexis has been coaching with Team Pennsylvania going on her second year. She is also in her second year of coaching the 7th-grade team at Central Dauphin East. Alexis played basketball for their rival Central Dauphin in high school from 2012 to 2016. From there she went to play for two years at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and finished her college career playing for West Chester University, graduating in May of 2021.

John Polly

John Polly has been a part of Team Pennsylvania formerly Advanced Hoops AAU for over 10 years.  John is a graduate and former player at Susquehanna Twp High School.  He has coached girls basketball for 20 years in the Central Pennsylvania area, CYO grade school girls at St Joan of Arc in Hershey, Team Pennsylvania High School showcase girls and is the current Girls Varsity Head coach at Palmyra H.S.  John has helped dozens of girls navigate the recruitment process and realize their dreams of playing at the next level.

Mandy Mullen

Mandy has been coaching with Team PA over the last three years.  She is also in her third year coaching the 8th grade girls team at Palmyra.  Prior to that, she coached girls basketball in Susquenita from 2012 to 2017.  Mandy had a successful high school career in Titusville from 2004 to 2008.  She then played one year at the University of Pittsburgh before transferring to East Stroudsburg where she played three years of rugby.

Nashon Walker

Coach Nashon played for one of the top high school basketball programs in Pennsylvania history, the Williamsport Millionaires.  As a millionaire, Nashon earned defensive player of the year for 2 consecutive High school years and averaged a double double (10pts and 10rbs). 

Nashon later went on to play Basketball at Penn College of Technology where he averaged 20pt, 10rbs and 3stls per game as a freshman. Coach Nashon has 20+ years of experience mentoring, teaching & coaching both in the academic field and youth sports.  Coach Nashon also recently led his 7th/8th grade girls team to a Winter Series Championship run, which opened the door for many of his players to start the recruiting process with major D1 programs.  

Nashon is the founder of A2D Elite Girls Basketball Academy & RISE Sports HD. RISE Sports HD is a sports media & branding company that has staffed over 2000+ teens through their paid intern program and has helped dozens of student-athletes secure athletic scholarships through their trademarked videos, “College Coach Ready Reelz”.
