LaSonda Dixon, is a mother of six and holds a job in Human Resources. She is a Middletown Area High School (MAHS) graduate and a MAHS girls’ basketball alumna. She was a member of the ‘97-‘98 team that placed 3rd in Districts and went to the sweet 16 in states. She was also a District medalist in track and field.
LaSonda has over 20 years of coaching experience with the last three years serving as the head coach of Middletown’s girls varsity basketball team. In 2018, LaSonda launched a girls travel basketball team and for three years the team participated in many AAU tournaments.
LaSonda’s passion is coaching young athletes and helping them to develop into not only better players, but also to help them grow as individuals as “this is bigger than basketball”.
